I recently moved here from California. I was looking for a new tax accountant and guidance. When she found out that we had sold a rental property she quoted me $1400 to do some pretty basic amendments. I told her we couldn't afford that and she eventually lowered it some. I also asked her a few basic questions about rental property's. Most questions she wasn't too sure on and said she would need to contact some other people. I felt a little uneasy using her. I ended up calling some other well reviewed places. I am getting even more work done for $150! They also were able to tell me a lot of great information.
