They were referred by Fred's Appliance and are a delivery and installation choice for local and national stores. Their scheduling is easy, and they communicate well with customers, keeping them informed about appointments. Technicians are professional, helpful, and exacting in their work, ensuring a smooth installation process. They are timely and stick to quotes, resulting in a great end product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Their attention to detail is notable, and they take care to protect customers' property during the installation process. However, some customer experiences highlight areas for improvement, particularly regarding scheduling. While the technicians, such as Andy and Chris, are praised for their efficiency and friendliness during installations, there have been reports of rude behavior from the scheduler, which has caused frustration for some customers. Despite these issues, many have expressed satisfaction with the actual installation services and appreciate the patience shown by the owners of J&J when dealing with complications from Fred's Appliance. I initially gave a one star review after Fred’s Appliance Design Center brushed me off over multiple repairs and GE determining that the dryer Fred’s sold and worked on so many times was actually never vented correctly. Fred’s cited J&J Plumbing as their installer. It turned out that Fred’s lied about who they contracted with on the installation which put J&J in a terrible position for a while. The owners at J&J were courteous and patient during the time it took Fred’s Appliance to resolve the matter.
I was referred to J&J through Freds appliance for installation of double wall ovens purchased through Freds.
I was contacted to schedule the installation by J &J quickly, however when they called I wasn't ready to schedule. The scheduler seemed put off and hung up abruptly. I called when I was ready to schedule, which was about a month out. The day before the installation, I called about 10:30 am to get an estimate of installation time the next day. I said if it was late in the afternoon I would have to reschedule. The scheduler, same person, was rude. Told me the time was 9 to 5.

I see that there are a number of bad reviews, which puzzles me. I have utilized the services of this company twice and have been totally satisfied each time.
They clearly have an arrangement with Fred’s Appliance to perform the services that the Fred’s installation team declines. From the reviews, it appears that they also have an arrangement with Home Depot.
In March 2023, they helped install venting for my dryer, which sits on a contractor-built pedestal (a solid core door). The venting is straight down through a (too small) hole in the pedestal.
