He loves the handlers and always comes home exhausted after playing all day. Handlers are friendly and informative for us. Dropoff and pick-up are easy and organized.“

“Holly owns this incredible gem. I almost don't want to give it the 5-star rave I feel compelled to because I don't want them to get more packed than they already are. She and her staff pay close attention to the dogs; they are genuinely invested in this space and what it offers for our four-legged babies. When I brought up one of my dogs' trepidation and unwillingness to enter the facility, Holly immediately showed concern and acted. Apparently, he had been spooked by the construction noise that had occurred the day before and thus was being reticent the morning after. Additionally, the pups all were fearful of and had reservations with one of the employees, who they only saw briefly and never got to interact with. This disconnect was addressed beautifully by Holly. She said the employee didn't like he didn't get time with the dogs either and that other dogs also felt unsettled by not knowing who he was, and she made sure the dogs got to meet him more, and now all is dandy. It is so refreshing to know that Rocket Dog does everything in its power to care for my pups and my coworker's pup when we can't have them at work. “My review is based purely on grooming (Brooke specifically!) because my dog doesn't enjoy daycare or boarding so I don't have much experience to go off of there. I've had dogs my whole life but I now have a dog that has long, easily matted fur for the first time ever. The very first time I brought her to Citydog, Brooke told me many good practices to keep her mat free between grooms. I've been back to her countless times and she always does a great job. It's the reality of all long haired dogs that they need to be combed and brushed daily at home. Although I don't do a great job of keeping up with this maintenance between grooms, I'm so grateful I can trust Brooke to help reset my dog's fur whenever I come in. She always does exactly what I ask for and tells me which areas I need to pay more attention to when I'm brushing her at home based on where the most of her mats were. I used to live in Ballard but moved away about 2 years ago and haven't been able to find a groomer who does as good of a job as Brooke.“
