More than just a great karate dojo and an excellent after-school program - it's a supportive and fun community! So happy my son became a part of it 5 years ago and continues to benefit from coming here!

My whole family goes here to learn Karate. My two daughters live this place and the teacher is very gentle and empathetic and gives many moral lessons to deal with day today life to children. She manages many kids in each class very well. Their after school program with school pickups is very successful for kids to learn karate and crafts. The Sensei creates a very safe and comfortable place for kids and adults of all ages. I've seen 70 year old women coming to learn karate in recent times. We live the class and plan to continue for many years to come.

Growing up on Queen Anne Hill, I went for a long time to the Washington Karate Association when they where next to at the time a 7-11 and had a Cabinet shop behind them. Their training had prepared me not only for Self Defense, but for the Discipline, Learning Honor, Courage to overcome my obstacles and confidence that was the building blocks for my 22 years of US Army service. Thank you Hanshi and Sensei Thiry. Love to get caught up on the new things in your years.
