Valerie Phoenixx cut my hair today and I honestly couldn’t be happier. From the second I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely comfortable. She’s so kind, funny, and easy to talk to — it felt like catching up with a friend while getting pampered.
She really listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and brought my vision to life even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail is incredible, and you can tell she truly cares about her craft and her clients.

I've been visiting Valerie for years now and I heartily recommend her salon!
The salon itself is a cozy single room in a shared salon building, which lends a very calm air to the space. The restrooms and waiting areas are in a shared hallway, but all of the services are in closed rooms so I rarely overhear others during my appointments. It's lovely to be able to have a conversation and not have all the other bustle of many stylists etc. in the same room. Pricing is reasonable and based on the kind of service, so it goes up as things get more complex. Valerie makes the experience fun, comfortable, and something to look forward to! I’m always happy with the result, even when I’m still figuring out what I want in how I style my hair. Would easily recommend her to anyone that’s looking for somewhere to get a haircut!
