I have had many tattoo sessions over the past several years with UTN's owner, Josh. Currently we are working on sleeves which are also coverups of some outdated work done by another artist many years ago. Josh is a talented professional who is easy and fun to collaborate with on my projects. He brings expertise and vision to each project and takes my ideas to the next level, creating tattoos that I'm proud to wear and show. His shops (both Kirkland and Friday Harbor) are clean, inviting, and friendly. I came in from out of town to get tattooed. I arrived early to see the shop getting cleaned. I hadn't had breakfast, so Josh grabbed me a breakfast sandwitch on his way in. The tattoo was hand drawn onto my neck to fit just right with the shape of my body. The tattoo was going great, I started to get sore after 5 hours of tattooing. Josh saw this and got me some relief with topical spray. The price was fair, and I had some $$ left, so I happily tipped my artist.Josh is a professional and it shows in the way he does business. He even followed up with me a few days later to make sure i was healing well. I had a really great experience and I will be back again.
