Walked in intending to use a super bed, but upgraded to the stand up Ultra experience for the first time. Such an amazing experience compared to the coffin style tanning beds... the stand up experience gets u tan in places that u can't reach while laying down. I think this will help provide a more even tan compared to the traditional beds where u lay down. It was so relaxing and warm, I started doing Tai chi stretches while I felt the warm air, it was like I entered the next dimension of tanning experiences! Thank you so much to staff for recommending I try something new today. If u haven't tried it yet, I definitely suggest you do! 5 STARS!
I would give Tropical Tan of Ballard a 5 star review except for the fact that every single weekend that I try to go on Sunday, no one is ever there. Half the time the "Open" sign is on and the sign in the window says someone will be right back but I've waited 45min multiple times omly to leave in frustration. Today..... Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 4:50pm the open sign is turned off, the door is locked and no one is home. Maybe its just not open on Sundays and the website and hrs of operation are in need of being updated? Anyways, 6 days a week it's a great place to tan.
Terrible management with broken machines. But the girls at the front desk are awesome! I just wish their spray machine worked properly. If you don't mind the drive, I'd recommend going to a better location like Shoreline or Wallingford.
