I’m only writing this review to celebrate Chelsea and give her my thanks, yet again. I came in today for a birthday massage. I did a deep tissue massage with cupping and I cannot even begin to describe the care Chelsea put towards my body. She is so intuitive and catered my massage to my body’s needs. The way she incorporated cupping into my massage was so so so amazing. She offered so much encouragement and patience during moments of release that at times were painful. Thank you for giving my body what it needed. You deserve to be recognized and celebrated for the work you do.

Outstanding massage and spa experience for the price. While many may think $220ish is a lot for a 50-min massage, this was amazing. I’ve had worse for much more. My experience was so good it felt like the massage was much longer. The oils had great scents, nice relaxing music, peacefully lit ambiance. Well worth the price tag and when you factor in the amenities on top of that, this is a great deal. Dry sauna, wet steam room, water, tea, snacks, great shower facilities. I am going back during my work trip.

My mani/pedi service was a great way to prepare for my vacation the following day. However a day after my services and upon arrival to Italy, my gel polish on several fingers had already begun to chip away. I had to walk around for the most part of my trip with chipped polish and go out of my way to get a replacement + a full service for all other polishes that were chipping away. They only offered a portion of a refund. I really had high hopes as Four Seasons is close and I planned to be a regular.

EDIT: They responded below to say they were in contact with me. This is a lie, no one has reached out in the five days since they said they would. Not surprised, they obviously cannot keep their word!
Biggest birthday let down. My husband booked massages as a surprise for my birthday. He specifically asked that they don’t email or contact me to keep it a surprise. Here’s how it went down: Day 1: got email confirmation and text message with the receipt sent to my phone. Surprise ruined. Day 2: same email and text sent AGAIN! I called and was told I wouldn’t receive any more notifications and a manager would call me. Day 3: same email and text sent AGAIN! Called again, waited on hold for a non existent manager for 20 mins. Finally got the front desk manager who comped the services and said I’d be getting amenities and snacks. ( this never happened.) Spa day: we arrived at 5:00 on the nose and Gretchen led me through the locker rooms (FILTHY! Trash in the floor, hampers over flowing with used robes and sandals) and put me in a locker that didn’t work. I had to hunt her down to get a working locker, and she questioned whether or not I actually needed one! Um, yes. I did. Our 55 minute massage was 25 minutes total (we watched the large digital clock and were shocked when they ended the service). We had asked Gretchen to adjust our dinner reservation (which was on site) to a bit later so we could relax post massage. She DID NOT move it and when I asked her to confirm the time, she was like “oh, uh, I didn’t move it” So we had to rush to make it. What a complete let down, waste of time and pathetic customer service. Avoid Nicole as a massage therapist, I asked her twice to lighten up on my pregnant body and she failed both times, but hey, at least they cut the service in half, so I didn’t suffer too long!

The actual services at the spa were easily 5 stars, my massage with Kathleen was heavenly and so therapeutic. My facial with Shaweh was relaxing and was a perfect finish to my afternoon. If spa guests were allowed to visit the pool/whirlpool facilities, my rating would easily be 5 stars, however locker rooms were in need of a full time attendant. At times, the area was messy, but there was not a dedicated attendant for upkeep.

I went in for a massage with hot stones and scalp massage enhancements over a month ago. At the time, I was experiencing neck and shoulder stiffness and headache. I set up this appointment in hopes to alleviate a bit of that tension in my body. I walked out of that appointment with more neck ache than I walked in with. In addition to that, my scalp has been itchy ever since. I am not someone who likes to leave negative reviews so I decided to call and see if they could suggest something or help resolve the itchiness. In the 4+ times I called them, every time I was told they’ll get back to me and they didn’t. I give up now and am left to write this review so others know how they treat their customers who want to work with them to resolve an issue.
Overall, based on my experience, I do not recommend this place and suggest you to support some other spas in downtown that are local business owners and have much more care for their customers.
