I literally love Lash and Wax Boutique. Jacqueline does my lash extensions and she’s the sweetest ever and so good at what she does. My fills always come out exactly how I ask and they look sooo good every time. All the girls there are super nice and the whole place just feels comfortable and welcoming. If you’re thinking about getting lashes done, go here. You won’t regret it.

This place is amazing :) I love my eyelash extensions by my girl Jacquelyn! I have come here for four years!!! The team of girls are amazing and the communication for arranging appointments is flawless.

Honestly the best lash experience ever! Jacquelyn is so sweet, friendly, and fun to chat with—I look forward to our appointments because the conversation is just as good as the lashes.

And the lashes? Perfect. They look amazing, feel super lightweight, and last way longer than I expected. I’ve gotten tons of compliments and they still look fresh weeks later.

I came here for a lash lift and tint, but the experience was quite uncomfortable. The owner, Carol, was rude, and I immediately noticed how condescendingly she spoke to her employee, which created a tense and unprofessional atmosphere. At one point, Carol stepped out of the room and began yelling so loudly it sounded like she was screaming at the top of her lungs. When she returned, I asked what the noise was, and she replied, 'Oh, that was me laughing.' It was so intense that it genuinely startled me. It’s safe to say I will not be a returning customer.

Maya and Alexis are fantastic. Great service, incredibly friendly and inviting. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new with their eyelashes.

NEVER AGAIN.
I started going to L&W in Queen Anne back in 2020 and the experience down there was great, but then Ciera, who worked with me and was WONDERFUL and introduced me to sugaring, left which turned out okay because I moved too. I moved back to Seattle 2 years ago and decided to give the Greenlake location a try.
The first time was last year and I thought I was going to go ahead and swear off of sugaring after that. The person I worked with was young and really didn't seem to have much experience with sugaring. Without going into too much detail, there was a point where she got stuck.... I literally started sweating on the table because we were both stressed.
But for some dumb reason, thinking lightning can't strike twice, I tried again today.

After this experience I am officially investing in Laser Hair Removal instead.

I paid $130 to be tortured.

The tech was 10 mins late and I was about to walk out, and I wish I had because I would have saved myself money and protected my brain from unnecessary cortisol flooding.
I have to assume that she also had no idea how to work with sugar. She went SO FAST so the sugar was just grasping the tips of the follicles rather than the going slow and letting the sugar actually grasp the base of the hairs to pull them out effectively and efficiently. I feel like it would have been less painful to just sit there and pluck each hair one by one on my own.
Suffice to say, my abs are literally sore from clenching for as long as they did.
I've been sugared by a handful of people on both coasts so I have had GREAT experiences (the best ones are the ones who have done it on themselves), but the worst were here. I am sure their other services are great but SKIP THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SUGARING SERVICE.

Edit, in response to the owners response: Carol, I sent you an email via the “contact us” button on the website with more in-depth feedback from the experience bc I didn’t feel comfortable speaking on the phone.

I came here before. It took me a minute to trust the process. The young lady, unfortunately, is no longer working with the company. Sad face for days, so I had to put my trust into another young lady. As you hear in the video, my faith was weak. But low and behold. It all worked out.. I will come back and trust the process. Thank you for working with all my fears I brought to your table.. see you soon.
