Swing Dance SCT is a welcoming community where dancers of all levels can learn, socialize, and improve their skills. With top-notch instructors, classes for beginners and experienced dancers, and regular social dance nights featuring live jazz music, it's a favorite among dancers in Seattle and beyond. The scene is warm and inviting, offering a supportive environment to meet new friends and take part in unique events like amateur jazz jam nights.
I can say as both a student and an instructor this school is amazing. The sense of community, the love for jazz, the well thought out class concepts is really top notch. The space itself is truly beautiful, and the attached coffee shop is just an added bonus! Love my SCT fam.
Elaine and Stefan are great teachers. The classes are small and you can receive individual attention and feedbacks. They teach the technique to be a better leader or follower. Elaine is also a Pilate teacher and she leverages her deep knowledge of the body to teach dancers how to move correctly.
