Our hair and makeup team was phenomenal on our wedding day. Even with tricky lighting in our getting ready room, they worked efficiently, made thoughtful adjustments, and delivered a polished look for everyone that lasted all night. Because I had 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms getting ready, we booked the VIP service and they got through everyone in an impressive 4 hours. My bridesmaids also found the process smooth and were thrilled with the results! While the overall service felt expensive and communication by phone could have been smoother, the quality, efficiency, and professionalism made them absolutely 100% worth booking.
Kat deserves a special shoutout - she was so thoughtful and meticulous during my trial, helping me land on a look that felt natural and true to me while still feeling elevated. I loved the small adjustments we made along the way, and she even worked with me on a last-minute ponytail extension that turned out perfectly. She was also super fun to hang out with :)

Kat was INCREDIBLE!! She is so warm and easy to talk to and was so patient with my lack of planning around my hair. I had an idea but was not sure and I did not schedule a pretrial but just from our first encounter I knew she would be great.... and she DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My hair was gorgeous and I am so grateful for her! Also my makeup was SPOT ON! I had a HUGE pimple that came in the night before (of course it did ) and she managed to make it disappear the whole day. Thank you again and again!!

Both artists did a great job for my bridal and wedding party hair and makeup. Special shoutout to Mia who did everyone's hair - myself and several of my wedding party have natural curly hair which is something I was worried about, but she did fantastic and everything held up with no frizz after lots of dancing. The makeup also held up great and both artists were really receptive to what people wanted and made adjustments throughout. The only challenge was around communicating with the salon in the months leading up to our wedding as their email interface is a little outdated and every time you reply you get directed to someone different. This led to some prolonged back and forth around day of timelines, etc. But all worked out, and overall I was really happy with their services!

Our makeup and hair artist did a beautiful job, especially on my bridal look. My hair turned out exactly how I envisioned it, and my makeup held up flawlessly all night. The trial run went smoothly, and I felt confident and excited about the final look. Bridesmaids' hair also turned out great, and the artist was efficient and adaptable. It’s worth budgeting a bit more time for makeup, as it did take longer than expected. Also, if your location requires valet or transportation coverage, be sure to factor that into the cost. Add-ons like lashes and airbrush are extra but were accommodated with prior notice, even on the day of. While I had to follow up a couple of times to get confirmations, the final result was worth it. I’d recommend for bridal hair and makeup—especially for the bride—and bridesmaids’ hair. The overall experience was positive and added to the magic of getting ready.

Update- they also lie pathetically. They were at the hotel for our appointment where all my guests were staying, how could I have been “late to arrive” lol. The first day the hotel lost water, and none of us had any control over that. The second day, HMU team left spot at 8 as per time booked. Maybe they lied to your office abt the extra hours since that’s a custom here evidently.
Tldr: The HMU team does bare minimum only, even though they automatically charge an 18% tip. Definitely not worthy for indian weddings.
Coming back after 7mths to finish this review as I’m still not over the sub-standard services they provide despite all the lavish advertising on their website. Booked them for bridal + bridal party HMU, and they refused to make any accommodations even for the bride. Instead of taking an extra 10 mins, did a hack-job with the veil clearly showing they have no experience- even though I had done the trial which the lady ended in barely 20 mins and didnt take the time to actually try the veil which was heavier than traditional american veils (and she had seen the veil). My braid came loose in 2 hrs and is very visible in wedding photos, even though a touch up was booked. she didn’t bother to fix it and ran off in 30 mins , when the touchup was scheduled for 1hr.
Every time i look at my wedding photos i’m reminded of their loosey-goosey work on my special day and that puts me off horribly.
Will not recommend unless you’re doing a very standard American wedding as that’s all they seem to know.

Salon Maison exceeded my expectations with both hair and makeup! I wanted soft curls for a romantic look, and they nailed it - my curls were beautiful and lasted the entire day. The makeup was flawless, a soft glam style with all the right contouring and highlighting tricks that made my features pop. I had boudoir photos done, and the team created the perfect, romantic and sultry look. My photos came out more beautiful than I ever imagined! If you’re looking for expert hair and makeup, Salon Maison is a must!

Salón Maison performed services for a wedding I attended and I remember the bride absolutely glowing. She’s struggled with being a perfectionist in the past so everyone was a little worried for her big day but it was perfect!
