Ronald McDonald House by Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington my Granddaughter has used this facility several times over the past two years. My Great Grandson has required 4 open heart surgeries and he’s only two years old. My Granddaughter has room for her other children and there’s a safe playground, kitchen available, playroom, craft supplies and craft room which help entertain the kids while their brother receives treatment. The facility is within safe walking distance from the Children’s Hospital. It has been a blessing for my family. The service provided to families with children receiving medical treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital is absolutely invaluable. It's so much more than just housing. There is food, connections to resources, recreation, entertainment, and a caring, compassionate staff. The cost to families for all of this? Zero. Nothing. It's a remarkable place that provides a home away from home during what is a very difficult time for many families. I don't know what we would do without it.
