About Quantum Martial Arts

Quantum Martial Arts is a non-profit, all-volunteer driven community-focused dojo in Seattle's Central District. It offers adults and kids classes, welcoming students from all walks of life. The organization is built on a system with all the integrity and joy that one could ask for, with every single person embodying the values of teaching, learning, and helping the wider communities thrive. Students of Quantum Martial Arts have reported a very welcoming place, extremely inclusive, and a community-driven dojo. The Quantum style offers a blended approach to both grappling and striking, and students have experienced the unexpected benefits of stretching and warm-ups every class. The first two weeks are free, allowing students to try out the classes and make arrangements with the teachers to figure out the best way to make the most of the trial period. The community at Quantum Martial Arts is built on respect, kindness, and encouragement. Instructors like Chris, Alison, and others have been commended for their dedication, patience, and understanding. They take the time to educate students, help them achieve their goals, and provide a safe space for learning and exploration. The dojo has a unique charm, with each instructor bringing their own personality to every session. Students have reported significant growth in their physical and mental strength, flexibility, and confidence. Many have found that the lessons learned in the dojo continue to guide them throughout everyday life. The community at Quantum Martial Arts is a place where students can show up as their authentic selves and be nourished by the practice and the people. It is a blessing to be part of this community, with students feeling deeply supported and rooted for on and off the mat. Quantum Martial Arts is not a hardcore MMA gym, but rather a place where students can find inspiration, learn, and grow. The community is eager to welcome new students and has a lot to offer, including a sliding scale scholarship program to make training accessible to everyone. If you are looking for a place to challenge yourself, learn, and grow, Quantum Martial Arts might just be the right fit for you.

I observed a kids' class in the San Francisco dojo a few months ago. I think parents will be very pleased with the instructors' approach, especially if they want their kid to learn not only competence in the physical aspect of the art, but respect for their fellow human beings. Plus, the instructors are always encouraging and upbeat with the students. The kids respond to them very positively.
