One was to purchase an cable to test the drive on other computers. In the end it turned out that the drive wasn't functional. Dave then recommended a data recovery company. I would highly recommend contacting PC Consulting.

Dave is the BEST! Anytime I have a question or need help setting something up, I just send Dave an email and within minutes I've gotten response and not long after that the problem is fixed. I have been a full time student for several years now, so having someone like Dave that is ready to pop in at a moment's notice when something comes up is SO IMPORTANT! I literally could not ever say enough good things about Dave and PC Consulting!
