Olsen Violins

Spent about 5 weeks looking for a new violin. I tried many different shops in the area but Olsen Violins really stood out. Sten and Nete are kind and knowledgeable and their shop is a beautiful place that is very well kept. All the instruments I tried here were in great condition. It's easy to tell how much care they put into their work. After trying 60+ violins from Seattle and Tacoma I finally settled on one that I found here. A lovingly restored, early 20th century, German violin. I was able to make the purchase with confidence.If you're looking for a new instrument definitely check this place out!!

Great experience with a violin rental for my son and bow purchase for myself. Very helpful information supplied during the process. I tested several bows in the shop's private practice room and also borrowed to try out at home. I ended up buying the bow I borrowed and am very happy with it.

Really lovely instruments, for purchase or rental. Their rental fees are very reasonable and better than the fees you'll pay at chain music stores, particularly for the quality of the instrument.
