James, one of the handymen from MTC, has received positive reviews from clients. He is known for his great job on various fixes around the house, such as repairing doors, fixing misaligned cabinet drawers, and adjusting window shades. His work is efficient, thorough, and he takes the time to explain the solutions to the issues. Another client praised James for his professionalism and reasonable pricing when replacing hinges on old European cabinets. Despite the hinges being unavailable, James provided a suitable alternative by using soft-close hinges and improved the spacing better than the original. Although there have been minor issues with communication and cleanup, clients have generally had a positive experience with MTC Handyman Service. They appreciate James's responsiveness, punctuality, and the high-quality work he delivers.
James came and re-aligned three doors that had been sticking for years, driving me nuts. He was super fast, clean (wore booties and did the door shaving outside), and very nice with my new puppy who was *very* interested in what he was working on. James was able to schedule quickly and was not only on time, but checked in about coming by early! Highly recommend.
James did a great job on some misc fixes around my house. He was able to fix 3 doors that weren't closing or latching properly, fix a cabinet drawer that was misaligned after it got painted, and fix a window shade that kept falling off. He was on time, organized, and very efficient with his time - not to mention he did a great job on the fixes requested. He also took the time to explain what he did and how he was able to correct some of the issues. I definitely would hire MTC in the future!
I hired James with MTC Handyman after inquiring about another job. He had referred me to a very good option. When it came time (way overdue, btw) for me to get the hinges replaced on my old European cabinets I knew he was the one to handle the job. He told me what kind to get as the hinges aren't made any longer, bonus they were soft-close hinges. I have had others try to help me with this job, and it wasn't successful. Not only did James do an amazing job refitting the new hinges (some had actually broken off) he corrected the spacing even better than before. I look forward to working with James in the future, very professional and reasonably priced. So happy with my cabinets now!
