Very nice independent hair salon. Sue did a wonderful cut and color. I especially appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of hair products as is typical of other places. I'll be returning for more when it grows out.

I had a great experience with Sue yesterday! It had been 2 years since my last haircut- Plus the recent reopening of salons made me anxious! She had a calming presence which put me at ease right away! We both wore masks and in very little time I had a great haircut! Thanks Sue!

A nice place to get a great haircut for a good price. Mey is awesome. I like that the owner is often present to attend clients and keep the place tidy and clean. Cons - admin side of things is lacking (no appointment reminders, slow checkout)

Jesse knows what he's doing. I'll admit he was a bit intimidating at first; he doesn't look or act like a conventional hair specialist. But I was glad I gave him a shot. I had a demanding vision, with unusual coloring and styling...several stylists I've tried in the past failed me with a boring "mom bob, " leaving me frustrated waiting for six weeks while it grew back out enough to try again. Jesse was the first to bring that vision to life. Beautiful vibrant color and the perfect dramatic, edgy cut I'd hoped for. I'm sorry I doubted him (and probably played the part of an annoyingly paranoid client). They lose a star for taking a long time, for the salon being a little shabby, and because I can still see my roots a little, but I'll probably be back and I'd still recommend it.

Nothing against the individual stylists, but this salon has lost a customer. The reasoning: I had gone to Michanne's once before and had a very positive experience with the stylist with whom I was seated. So, when I needed a maintenance bang trim, this was the first place that came to mind. As this is typically a 10 minute cut, and they prominently display a sign claiming "Walk-ins welcome," I assumed that I could simply arrive sometime during regular operating hours, and be seen. Unfortunately, I have now made multiple attempts to take them up on this offer, and have consistently been turned away. A single "swamped" stylist in the building, who offers a card for an "on-call" stylist who may or may not even be able to give me an appointment, doesn't feel very walk-in welcoming. It seems like false advertising to offer something that, as a business, it appears that you do not have the staffing to accommodate. I repeat, I am sure the individual stylists are wonderful, but I don't find the hassle worthwhile.

Mey is awesome and cuts both my hair and my daughter's. She has also colored my hair and does a fabulous job. 5 stars all the way!

I got a haircut with Linda, she does awesome work.The best cut in a long time,I used to go to Rudys barbershop and always had a different barber every time and the wait was long.I will definately be back to see Linda here.If you want a good haircut,its easy just go see Linda.
