They say that an organization's culture is established by those in charge and that holds true at Evergreen Tang Soo Do. Master Elmore is a phenomenal leader and his approach to instruction and management (honest, open, disciplined, humorous, genuine, firm-but-patient) really sets the tone of the gym.My child has been attending for a little over a year and we've been able to see what a community Master Elmore has built. He isn't just teaching a martial art, he is building future leaders in the process. We appreciate the consistent manner in which classes are conducted- the teachers (led by Master Elmore) focus their students (especially kids) to both have fun and focus, and let those two factors compound to benefit their abilities. I've seen my kid feel a healthy sense of pride and responsibility in attending to the practice of TSD. I'm thankful for the family atmosphere that also doesn't shy away from pushing the students do their best.

We love this studio. This is a family-friendly, supportive group of people. The instructors are incredibly consistent and emphasize character as well as martial arts skills. Attendance has improved my sons concentration and his ability to deal with set backs. Whole families can attend together so you don't have to find a separate time to work out from your kids. I cannot recommend this place enough.
