I cannot recommend Ambika Kumar and her team at Davis Wright Tremaine highly enough. From the very beginning, they were professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly experienced in matters involving First Amendment rights. They were always prompt in communication, clear about the process, and strategic in helping me understand how to move forward.

What stood out most was how human they were throughout the entire experience. Legal situations can feel intimidating and overwhelming, but Ambika and her team brought warmth, humor, and calm to difficult moments. I never felt talked down to or lost in the process. I don't know about the practice as a whole, but Megan Vogel gave me a 20 minute consultation on immigration and employment issues, and I found to be quite helpful. If I hire internationally in the future, I will definitely consult with her.

Disclaimer: I am not a client. I am providing this review solely on how considerate and thoughtful their staff has been.I attended an event at Davis Wright Tremaine, and like a dummy I left a personal item there. I have been trying, and failing, for a month to go collect it. Courtney has kept an eye on it, protected it from the periodic Goodwill donation runs, and when I called to confess that I just hadn't been able to make the pickup happen, she offered to mail it to me.
