My father has a fairytale cabin on a creek near Mt. Rainier. It has been sitting empty for 20 years and the mice had taken over the place. As you can imagine, the carpet was riddled with mice urine and droppings and an hour drive from the nearest town. I called all over the area looking for a carpet company to come the lengthy drive and remove the old filthy carpet and have it replaced, and nobody wanted to do it. I called Lewis at Carpet Liquidators in North Seattle as it was the closest one to where I live. Not only were the willing and happy to take this job, but they also hooked me up with the exact same color carpet as the original and only 79 cents a square foot! My elderly father and I were elated! I met with the two young men at the cabin, and they moved like lightning speed. Within what seemed like minutes, they had all the furniture moved and the old nasty carpet and padding removed!! It was muddy and cold outside, and they cut the old carpet and made a carpet path from the house to their truck so not a speck of mud was tracked into the house. As they worked, they listened to their music and sang along and they didn't even take a minute break in the 5 or 6 hours it took them to do the entire job, start to finish. I fed them water and oranges and they were grateful for the sweet orange nectar to keep the fueled. By the time they were finished, the left not a trace of trash or lint behind. The next day, I called Lewis (the manager of the business) and told him how wonderful his workers were and how happy and grateful I was for their service.
