For Pacific Trenchless aka Budget Sewer Inc. - Another plumbing company came out to address a backup in our basement sink but ran into trouble getting the snake through due to roots and debris. After running a camera, they identified a serious blockage. To clear it, they said it would require cutting a hole in the deck, digging down 9 feet over an 8-foot stretch, and quoted $12,500 just to clear the blockage. If the pipe was in bad condition, they recommended installing a sleeve--if salvageable--or potentially replacing the pipe entirely, which would cost significantly more.
