Baila District is Seattle's favorite place to learn salsa & bachata, located conveniently behind University Village. The studio offers a fun and welcoming atmosphere for dancers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. The world-class instructors create a fun, easy, and smooth approach to teaching, with classes that balance repetition to drill movements and build confidence while allowing space for creativity and expression. The community is warm, supportive, and inclusive, with a lot of thoughtfulness behind how the studio grows and evolves. Baila District has many dance projects, including multiple performance teams (salsa and bachata), monthly classes, socials, and events. The speciality is organizing quality dancing while promoting unity and diversity within the community. New students often find the first class fast and hard, but by the third class, they are really enjoying it.
