“Like most women with stubborn hair and unlucky genes, I have struggled with confidence my entire life. I was very nervous about beginning this journey, and very concerned that I would end up with someone who would make me regret the process, but I knew that I couldn't put it off any longer if I wanted to love the reflection I see in the mirror every day.

I cannot say enough how grateful I am for my experience. JD is very honest about setting expectations from the beginning and was very compassionate to my condition and didn't make me feel bad about myself. He is patient and thorough and ensures that patients understand what commitments and follow ups we are responsible for on our end to ensure a successful hair removal journey, it's very much a team effort! I regret not prepping with numbing cream (I have thick hair and some double follicles so it was a bit more intense) but he was very methodical and frequently checked in to make sure I wasn't in too much pain or discomfort and assured me that if I was we could adjust the methodology as needed.

I bought an intro package for Brazilian and underarm laser hair removal ($99) which included your first session. You can choose additional packages for more. I chose to add 7 more sessions I believe it was about $1500? I also did my upper lip (7 sessions) about $500? I can’t remember (sorry ?), but they also offer installment payments so that’s pretty cool! My results have been AMAZING. After only a 2 sessions my underarm hair didn’t grow back only a few random little hairs. For my Brazilian the hair is growing thinner, I rarely need to shave and the skin is soft and smoother. I've been getting work done on my face with Laura for a while now, and even though I don't get to go super often, there are still visible results with minimal pain. She is excellent at what she does, very accommodating, great to talk with, and really has a lot of care for things outside the work that's being done (and of course obviously cares about the work too!), not to mention the willingness to tell you about what the machines do and how it works.

As someone with agoraphobia, finding places that feel truly safe and comfortable is hard. This is one of those safe places.

“I used to get waxed here in high school before I moved for school. I recently came back in preparation for my wedding and from the start, Bren was incredibly accommodating: she fit me in last minute for a 3 hour wax marathon. Her technique is interesting in that it may be unlike what you have experienced before, but she is incredibly effective! I don't have any redness or bumps following our long session, and I have really thick and coarse hair!

I will note that her table was set up a little unusually. I don't know if I came in the middle of some kind of renovations but her table didn't have a pillow and she used a thin tissue paper on top of the wax table that kept getting stuck to my skin that was a little annoying. I will reiterate that this might be temporary, but just a heads up!
