Started getting my hair cut here in 2001. Currently live on the other side of the state, but just started bringing my son here when we visit. They've been the best shop in Tacoma for decades.

I initially just walked in, hoping there was an opening. There was just one barber on duty, who quickly noticed me and let me know without an appointment I would be waiting a while. After a few minutes, I had an appointment in about an hour and a half. Great, I can get a few errands done. I didn't get the name of the guy who helped me today. Nice guy, good conversationalist, great simple cut and shave (well, more of a beard buzz-off) for just $20. How often do we get excellent service, precisely what we want, and a great price? Next time I'm back in the area, I know where I'm going for my haircut or next beard-buzz-off. :)
