Westgate Barber was a long-standing and beloved barbershop in Tacoma, known for being the best for decades. It has now permanently closed as the barber retired. The business has moved to a new location nearby under a new name.
The shop was praised for its excellent service, professional and friendly barbers, and great simple cuts. Customers, including women, men, and children, reported consistently getting precisely what they asked for. Many were loyal long-term clients who wouldn't go anywhere else, often referring others who gave wonderful feedback. The atmosphere was noted for good conversation, and the value was highlighted as great, with excellent service at a great price. While walk-ins were sometimes possible, appointments were recommended.
