I've been going here for my optical needs for decades! The staff is one of the friendliest and accommodating you will ever find. I tend to be very hard on my glasses. The staff knows me by face. I'm in there 3 or 4 times a year getting my glasses bent back into shape! They have a great selection of frames and the prices are very reasonable. I just went for an annual checkup. With my insurance (which is average at best), I got my appointment and a brand new pair of glasses with 3 stage progressive lenses for $193.

I picked up a new pair of glasses today (first new pair in several years). Their attention to detail, customer service, and patience as I adjusted my eyes was outstanding. As someone who has worn progressive lens bifocals for years, I highly recommend Uptown for your glasses needs. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful. Deducted a star due to the older building they are in. My father is in a wheelchair, and the narrow doors and hallways are very difficult to navigate with any sort of assisted mobility device (scooter, wheelchair). Take this into consideration when booking an appointment. Otherwise, recommended.
