Been getting haircut from John for 10+ years. I just sit down and let him do his thing and I’m super happy afterwards. I told John he can’t retire as I won’t know what to do. I’ve gotten haircuts in New York City, San Fran and none is as good as John. He doesn’t speak much English but he is super friendly and talkative in Cantonese and Mandarin.

What an amazing experience!! I was struggling to find a genuine hairdresser that know Asian hair well for couple months now since moving to Seattle and I am extremely happy to stumble upon Ya Tu salon. His skill is so quick, sharp, on point but nevertheless very detailed. I couldn’t be happier, thank god for the rain which “force” me to come here instead of my usual salon!!! Plus his pricing is reasonable, he doesn’t try to add on unnecessary products to overcharge you like regular salons. I am so surprise he doesn’t receive many reviews with his talent. Will definitely come back from now on for every haircut of mine!!!
