When I came in the massage therapy place Nov. 30th for an injury massage the front desk looked at me kinda funny. It didn't feel welcoming till I mentioned the reason why I came in.They took my paperwork an asked if I was ready an said yes. His name was David! I don't mind having a guy massager but, it was tough an hard on my body.It didn't even feel comfortable at all.David asked how I felt at the end I told him about it.Also with the facemask part was very uncomfortable laying down. I had a hard time researching for massage clinic that responds to my request for appointment and is flexible to accept insurance or write receipts for reimbursements and I am so glad I found this place. There was a lot of massage locations but it was such a hard thing to find something that is open and active! Their online scheduling tool was very easy and had plenty of availabilities. The providers here are very professional and great. I love Nicole and Janelle, they both are great. The front desk is very responsive and they accommodated my needs for receipts to submit the insurance so it was all very easy. Thank you!

I just returned to Lake Washington Wellness for the first time since 2017, and had a wonderful experience with Krystal at the front desk, but a really troubling experience with David, one of the therapists. If you are a woman with a history of trauma at the hands of men, or someone who has trouble speaking up for yourself in a closed room with a much larger person, I would not recommend David at all. It has taken me a few days to process what happened inside of me, and why I didn't just get up and leave, but though I will probably go back and try another therapist, David was definitely not for me.
