There are many types of martial arts classes out there. But if you want to learn the martial arts especially from self-defense perspective, Enso center Hapkido should be the place to start. The environment is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone is having fun while learning. The mix age makes it all the more interesting experience for learning. Enso Center helped us put together an archery event to round out our Scout badges. The youth (and adults!) were very proud of their progress and our instructor Tim was a very patient and skilled teacher (even with many ages, diverse needs, and mixed skill levels). We all had a really great afternoon, and will hopefully be back soon for more! Highly recommended!

Our son tried out different martial arts places but he fell in love with Enso Center's Summer Camp and programs. Master Jason Mix really knows how to work with kids, no matter how their temperament differs and he is as patient as it comes. It has a really high black belt ratio in each class which is combined age and belts. I also like the fact that they don't push the students for belt test, it's about individual readiness. We also like the fact that the Enso Center promotes different community events and the environment is very inclusive. It's the only martial arts place I know of that provides adaptive program as well.
