This story is long, but important:I started electrology in Portland, Oregon in 2016. I had no issues tolerating the procedure other than some mild redness and the expected discomfort. I had done laser in the past and it wasn't effective; the hair just returned after a month. I was excited to have finally found a type of hair removal that was effective. I had to move to Washington at the end of 2016 and needed to find a new electrologist. The first person I tried made me very uncomfortable. After my procedure I had ZERO issues with my skin . I had tiny little welts that whent away the next day! I am African American and she knew how to deal with my skin. Leanne has a new regular. ?

As someone in the beauty industry and from a state where electrology is heavily regulated I understand the importance of proper education, credentials and licensing. I often travel from California to Tacoma for business and was a bit apprehensive when searching for a qualified electrologist to see me when visiting that held the same certifications and qualifications I am used to in California because I was informed there are no regulations or licensing requirements in Washington state.
