About a week ago I was flossing around the "permanent retainer" that I have had for years, installed by a Seattle orthodontist, on the back side of my four low front teeth. Daily I have to feed the floss between the gaps, floss near the gums and roots and then pull the floss out, on most occasions. On this recent evening, feeding in then flossing between the last two teeth of the set, I felt a small pop and the floss came up through the gap, meaning one of the small dots of composite affixing points holding the thin wire in place had released. I just completed some dental work, cavities filled & cleaning, with Dr. Barry this week. Aside from the very congenial welcome and check-in from Andrea, I found this dentist to be both thorough and proactive. The visit was a wake up call for me, after so many years of poor dental care habits. He took the time and gave me specific strategies for eradicating my gum disease and maintaining proper daily hygiene. With one introductory visit prior, yesterday's procedure, and one to go next month, I'm fully satisfied with this team of practitioners. Dr. Barry is a good fit, recommended!
