Palouse River Kennels has been the best kennel for our dog. They have large kennels that have indoor & outdoor access and are secure between kennels. The staff is friendly and they make sure all bases are covered (meds, treats, playtime, dog jackets, etc.). Our dog always comes home tired from playing. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a kennel and you’re anywhere around the Palouse!

We have been leaving dogs at Palouse River Kennels for years now. I can't imagine leaving our dog anywhere else! The kennels are well organized, clean, accommodating, and sizeable. Each kennel has it's own large outdoor run, and plenty of room on the inside. Every time we drop our dog off, very exact details are written down on feeding and care instructions. We also have the option to sign her up for extra play time or walks. They do get a couple of playtimes included in the cost of boarding, and they are always more than willing to play chuck-it with her (her obsession!). We have been customers of Palouse River Kennels since they opened up so many years ago. I am always impressed on how clean the facility is and know that our dogs will always be well taken care of. We have recently needed to board our dogs at the last moment due to a family emergency and John was great at working with us so we could get on the road! On top of that, we just recently adopted a rescue from the Whitman County Humane Society and were nervous about leaving him. I talked with John in depth about my concerns prior to dropping the dogs off and when we got there he made sure to place the dog in the best possible position with others and he settled right in.... read full review
