Thank you for neutering my GSP/Australian Shepherd mix Charley! He is recovering well at home. Dr Emerson and his staff were great, their customer service and communication 10/10. I drove over and hour to get this surgery done for Charley because the vet hospitals in my vicinity were looking at around $700+😵💫 So, Dr Emerson wanted to see Charley for an evaluation before the actual procedure and it was very affordable. He also addressed Charley’s ear infection FOR FREE because our other vet wanted to charge us over $100 to apply medicine and send us home with it. My experience here has been very positive. I brought my elderly cat in to be examined a couple of years ago and the Vet gave me a lot of options ranging from medical work ups to prolong her life to comfort measures and there was no judgement about what I could afford.
Last year a different vet was going to charge me over $300 per cat to get mine neutered in addition to the cost of a visit and labs. McMillan Animal Hospital did it for half that. They were also way more up front about the costs of things.
They have vaccine days as well, not sure what the discount is, but I'm sure they'll tell you.
I also appreciate that I can text them about appointments.
My border collie has a very stubborn nose condition and my old vet didn’t even consider him being anxious. The doctor here talked to me - we discussed what it could be and he sent me home with some anxiety meds. It’s been 4 days and his nose is getting so much better. He is an experienced doc that knows his stuff. Glad I switched ! I trust him 100% and we moved all dogs to here !
