I went in without any expectations since I’m very particular about my hair. This is the BEST haircut I’ve had in years! I needed a hair style that was low maintenence where I could go without styling it if need be and still have it look good. Soon Lee delivered! I’m so happy with the results! Highly recommend!
This salon is by appointment only, which is great....I've had my hair done by Soon Lee twice and both times I was extremely satisfied with the color, cut, and style. It has taken a little over a year and several salons in the Olympia area to finally find a stylist that is consistent, listens to what her clients want, and makes recommendations based upon her experience and expertise. My initial appointment with Soon Lee was a consultation in which she looked at my current hair condition and asked what I wanted done, she gave suggestions and scheduled me a few days later for an appointment . My concern was the fast growth of gray hair at my temples. Soon Lee addressed that issue by giving me lighter color highlights. I was so impressed I scheduled my second appointment 6 weeks out. Normally by the 4th week my gray here is obvious and I can't wait to get my hair colored, but by the time the 6th week came about the gray wasn't so noticeable. It was there but it blended in with the highlights. At my second appointment Soon Lee was consistent with caring for my hair. The added bonus to Soon Lee's expertise with hair is her welcoming, open, friendly personality. This place is a hidden gem. It's by appointment only so I'm not even sure how busy her schedule is or if people in Olympia already know how great this salon is...but I decided to give this review for those looking for a go to salon/stylist.
I am so thankful for Millicent, who on very short notice after my hair consultation was able to take me in for a complete bleach and tone. I had previous color and bleach in, and she was able to fix it and make it into the most beautiful beige blonde color. She was super sweet and very entertaining, engaging with her customers and it felt like a very personable experience overall. She's extremely talented and an amazing cosmetologist, and I'm so thankful for her!
