The service is described as eco-friendly cleaning. However, there have been recent issues with shrinkage. Multiple customers report that good cashmere sweaters and an expensive blouse were shrunk during cleaning in early 2022, which was unusual compared to their past great job. In another case, an organic cotton/wool mattress cover was shrunk. The business acknowledged the problem and is working to replace the damaged item, though communication regarding the resolution has been delayed. This has left some customers disappointed and uncertain about returning, despite their long history of happy service. The owners are trying to make good on the situation.
EDIT: The folks who run this place are trying to make good and working with me on it. Crossing fingers it goes okay.I originally came to this cleaner because of their good reviews on Google, but I have come to seriously regret that choice.I brought in an organic cotton/wool mattress cover (not a protector) that specifically needed to be dry-cleaned on Saturday, July 22. When I came back on Friday, July 28, I was told that the item had shrunk during the process and that they would need to buy me a new one. I was also told they would call me the next day with more information. They also asked me what the mattress cover cost, and I told them I had no idea but it wasn't cheap....read full review
We have used Twice Cleaners for over 13 years. Locally owed by a very nice couple. We have used them for cleaning and tailoring services. Both services have been high quality and work guaranteed! We have been very happy and highly recommend Twice Cleaners.
I have used this business for my dry cleaning for five years with great satisfaction and always great service BUT the last two times I took several good cashmere sweaters in (early 2022) they were shrunk when we got them home. My wife also had a very nice expensive blouse and some of her sweaters shrunk as well. This is unusual because I have always taken my sweaters there and they have done a great job in the past. Something changed recently and now we are uncertain about returning.
