If you do your research beforehand, you know that this is Little Las Vegas ??‍♀️, the rooms are spectacular: great facilities, large, large windows overlooking the Pacific are absolutely breathtaking, food in the restaurant is of very good quality, very friendly staff.

It's a casino, doesn't seem to pay out a lot. Small and 100% smoke free which to me makes it lose a star. I smoke and part of the allure of the reservation casino is the ability to enjoy a cig without freezing my butt off! Most folks these days will enjoy the smoke free atmosphere

So I didn't stay at the Hotel. However, I did eat at the restaurant. I ordered the "Big Prawn" cocktail. The shrimp was damn near yellow, almost room temperature, and had brownish tails. Needless to say, I sent them back. The chowder was way too salty and the consistency was weird. The Dungeness crab cakes were ok. Plenty of crab but the presentation and the amount of remoulade sauce that was squiggled on top was not a lot. Usually, that would be a good thing but they needed the sauce for the lack of sweet, fresh deliciousness they were missing. I had to flag the busser to find my waitress at 1 pm on a Saturday when the place was not busy. After she finally came back...read full review
