Instruction is tailored to each dog and owner, building foundations for beginners and advanced dogs alike. The trainer listens to concerns and helps find a strategy that works, focusing on the connection and communication between dog and owner. Classes are fun and varied, offering many different options like Basic Training, Urban Manners, group walks, and Canine Good Citizen classes. The style is thoughtful and relaxed, providing real-world opportunities for best behavior in a relaxed atmosphere. The trainer is patient, explains the reasons behind tactics, and is a stand-out professional who constantly evolves. Dogs and owners love going to the classes, achieving success with flying colors.
We've had many dogs over the years and have worked with trainers for each one. Hands down Heather at Discovery Canine Adventures is our favorite. She is really the very best at what she does — Not only was Heather able to wrangle our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy and our 4-year old rescued Leonberger into line, but we graduated Basic Training Class with flying colors. We've attended a number of group walks and look forward to signing up for the Canine Good Citizen Class later this year. Thank you Heather for all your hard work and especially all of your support!
