My dog was very sick, unable to stand on a Saturday when most vets were closed. I went to Banfield first, they said they were booked solid and couldn't see him until end of day. I begged them as he was very ill and the answer was no. In desperation I found Animal Hospital of Newport Hills open nearby. I showed up bawling my eyes out because my dog was very sick and needed to see a doctor. They were booked too, but doctors at Newport Hills said they would squeeze him in. They saw him, did blood work, reviewed the blood work and sent us home with antibiotics and painkillers and another appointment the following week to discuss next steps. We had our first visit with our two dogs. We were taken back quickly, they had the dogs’ records at the ready & asked us about their health history. The vet & the vet tech were so good with our dogs & the visit went smoothly. No notes!
We have such a good experience every time with our dog. Every doctor and staff member are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Their appointment availability is always good - they also reserve some same day appointments for urgent pet needs, which has helped us out a lot. Highly recommend!
