We stopped in to look for this and that - just starting to DIY a few projects. The guys here were super helpful and took the time to listen to our plans and answer all of our questions. We were really impressed with the fastener selection - easy to navigate and they had everything we needed. Plus a lot more that we ended up buying just because! We'll definitely be back.

Another windstorm and another portion of my fence just blew over. I can either take over an hour to get my lumber at the big box stores, or I can go to Mount Vernon Building Center and have them get everything ready to go for me, all I have to do is tell them what I need and they get it. Super hady location away from the congested part of Mount Vernon, and I never have to wait for someone to help me, and if there is a part that my contractor tells to get and I have no idea what it even is, they always put two and two together for me and send me home with the right thing. Another business that makes Mount Vernon a wonderful place to live, even when it gets windy!

Mount Vernon Building Center has been unsurpassed by any of it's building materials competitors that I have enquired with, which has been over a dozen in a 100 mile radius of Mount Vernon, WA. Others are unwilling to match their prices saying "we can't even get that lumber for that price". This is an honest quote given me within the past month. The owner Kevin Kok has bent over backwards for us to ensure we have everything we need in a timely fashion. I don't know of a da
