My daughter’s first salon experience was great! We showed Suzan a picture of what she wanted and she made it happen- and made my daughter feel very comfortable and welcome. She was done lickity split and my daughter could not stop smiling ear to ear she loved it so much! And the price was just right, will definitely be back!

My daughter had a cut yesterday that was supposed to be an inverted bob. She asked for it to be at her shirt collar. The stylists name was Alex and since she was accused of being me I’ll post my own experience. We left the salon and my daughter started crying and didn’t want to go back. I stopped my car looked at her hair and said no way we’re going back. Upon entering the salon I asked for a manager or someone to look at her hair. I said can you tell me what happened here? The stylist admitted she didn’t know what happened “oh that must have happened while I was debulking” her exact words. She offered to fix it after I asked her if she knew what an inverted bob was. She did not fix it. This is the final result. We took photos before and after her shower. Clearly this owner believes you don’t shower after a hair cut. My daughter did get a refund of 35/40 that she paid. This is literally the worse thing I’ve ever seen and I’m posting it on Facebook as I can see that bad reviews are hidden. Bad cut, bad service and bad response and accusations to both. She’s having it fixed at another salon. This is nothing close to an inverted bob. Clearly this salon needs more training on skills and tact. Next time you want to accuse someone of lying make sure you have your facts straight. My next post will be on social media. My daughter was nice. I’m not.

Thanks for the "bob" alex. Really disappointed, i only got refunded 35 out of 45$. I don't even care about the refund. My hair is ruined and i had an important event to attend. Do NOT get your hair cut here. Even when its not brushed back it looks horrible. Im devastated.
Edit, absolutely hilarious response. I AM the person who got my hair cut. This its wet because she styled it before i left, i had to wet it to really see how bad it was. We came back because when we got to the car, i took my jacket off and my mom spotted the two inch "back bangs" piece. We came back because WHY would i leave with a huge chunk uneven. And no we weren't "loud and rude" you guys chopped my hair and left it looking horrible. I hated the initial cut but didn't want to be rude so we left. After finding the back piece, there was ZERO WAY i was leaving like this. Glad to know your salon takes zero accountability for terrible service. The first picture with a bun is dry, taken before i even wetted my hair. And no, i only got back 35$.

The best place in Marysville for "alternative" style haircuts. I'm an alternative queer tattooed chick who is into having short haircuts and shaved portions of my head. Amanda will be my stylist till the day I die (or move, I suppose). She's so personable and sweet, and she can decipher exactly what I'm looking for by asking the right questions.
