My daughter and I attended the parent/child class for one year before moving away. We have been searching for another dance class since moving and just haven’t found the quality that Haven provides! The respect, connection, and care that Ms Kat gives to students is unparalleled. My daughter and I both really enjoyed the teacher-led storytelling, introduction of specific dance terms (plie, high fifth, arabesque, sauté, posse), opportunity to learn choreography, and performance on stage. Kids this age LOVE repetition so it was great to build on that. We have been part of 4 dance schools in the greater Seattle area and Haven has been our best experience. The teachers have developmentally appropriate expectations and the classes are both fun and educational. Working towards a spring show is such a great experience and it’s done in such a low pressure way. We appreciate the ability to be enrolled month to month; it does seem to allow for a bit of student turnover in the season, but my daughter made fast friends in her class regardless. We look forward to continuing to attend!

We are thankful to be a part of Haven! It is a positive, encouraging environment where kids are encouraged to challenge themselves, gain confidence and grow in their talents and abilities. The year end recital was so well done and beautiful this year!
