I have been getting my hard to manage thick coarse hair cut and colored at the Alderwood location for over ten years. I really appreciate the high retention rate of their employees, as it is nice always be able to see the same person and build a rapport over time - not only with my stylist but front desk people as well. My hair always looks amazing when I leave. Shout outs to Somer (color) and Crosby (cut) - they are great people who always do an excellent job. Little spendy, but no other place has ever delivered such consistent and proper care for my hair, so it is worth it.
This review is specifically about Cara A. For almost 8 years I went to Cara. My first appointment with her was when she fixed my hair after a bad hair coloring job. For 8 years she did amazing coloring work, and haircuts when I needed them, on my hair. We worked together to get the right tone, or when I wanted to try something new she helped me go in the right direction for my skin tone and personality. She is an artist! I moved away from Washington and no longer see Cara, but when I visit I will definitely be making an appointment so she can do her magic!
I've been seeing Harlow for quite a few years now and she is always warm and welcoming. My previous experiences at other salons really left me with trust issues and Harlow has gone above and beyond in my expectations and always has me leaving on cloud 9 because of how great my hair looks. She is so talented and just a wonderful person all around.
