Cowlitz Family Health Center

This review is specifically for the clinic on 12th AVE of Longview, WA. The only reason I am giving this place two stars, and not one, is because of their Nurse Practitioner, Jeanie, and their secretary, Sarah, whom are both amazing at their jobs. The first counselor I saw, who is listed as a social worker, spent most of the appointment on her computer, did not engage, did not talk much and when she did talk, she did not care. She was completely apathetic and it made me uncomfortable and unheard. I requested another counselor in which I waited almost three weeks to see. When I saw her, I was excited to finally receive proper help. She told me that she was going on vacation and basically could not help me. The appointment was five minutes of her referring me to another clinic, in which she just gave me a list of people to find on my own. This counselor, the second one, admitted that she had a meeting with the first counselor, social worker, in which they both decided it would be better I receive counseling elsewhere. I feel that because I requested a new counselor, the second one I saw refused to help me. Both of the counselors are able to simply give up on patients, after they put little effort into their jobs. This level of privilege and laziness is wrong. As far as counseling, this is the worst clinic I have ever been to. If you need an amazing Nurse Practitioner, however, Jeanie is amazing. She is caring, thorough, and does her best. As for the counselors, I feel they need more training in their fields and also do not care for helping others. This place only offers 30 minute sessions, which is not enough time to properly help others dealing with mental challenges. I would not suggest this clinic if you need proper help with your mental health.

I will never go back here again they don't communicate with each other. They don't return your calls. And the Dr. I saw for my diabetes had the nerve to ask me if wanted to die because my A1c is the highest she's ever seen. Now who says that to someone who has extreme anxiety and depression. Wish I had reported her when I had the chance.

The front desk team is awesome!! I came in two times not on schedule, they always seem to try hard and get you seen if its an on going problem. Friendly, they thoroughly look into the problem and expedite the proper way. Keep up the good work🤙🏽

Update 5/5 can’t get seen tell June what is the purpose of this place you can never be seen they set aside so many same day appointments that you have to wait months to be seen if your not able to call or be there at 7:45am

UPDATE still can’t get in to be seen sat on hold for 31 mins just to be told to call back tomorrow to maybe get a same day appointment that’s what I have been doing for the past 6 months I have left voicemails and called every day off at 8am sometimes 7:46 and still haven’t gotten any response
Been going here for a while now and always have the longest wait but always got my Rx I needed filled but this time the wait was short but the care was the worst ever like it wasn’t even for me it was for my daughter the Rx was faxed but they needed to talk to the doctor well I call the clinic 5 times and left a message for doctor Conway now she isn’t in and we have to wait tell sometime next week wtf where is your ethics like she needs the Rx now not sometime next week this place isn’t about the patient it’s about money

My Husband has been for awhile complaining about pain with no help and he finally went to the ER and the results are 5cm mass on his kidney, if this would’ve been sooner could’ve been different. He has suffered for over 2 years with pain, Now This! 🥺

Been waiting on referrals for over 6 months the staff is unknowledgeable and does not return calls also according to peace health they are falsifying medical information, the dental side Is good the medical side is trash I can't even see a specialist till I have another stroke thanks to them

I honestly really like my doctor . The only complaint I have is how long it takes to get an appointment . Someone's 2 or 3 months out .

I absolutely love this place and the staff. I've never had a bad experience here, everyone is so kind. I adore Megan she is so awesome and my PCP, Lisa the best. I've never had a PCP that is so thorough and explains everything to me. She genuinely cares, all doctors, NP should be just like her

Worse than useless, do not answer phone , do not respond to problems if they do answer, do not respond to messages, do not respond to pharmacy for refills. After 2 visits and many months nothing resolved on my health issues and no refills of my simple prescriptions for simple blood pressure and anti-inflammatory meds. Will be continuing going to Urgent Cart in another state because Longview is full of evil, nasty, vile people including those healthcare.

This experience is solely for the dentist office,new to the area and it’s my first year visiting this office and honestly it’s some of the worst healthcare service I’ve ever experienced compared to other places I’ve lived. Doctor truong is awesome and really nice and informative but the assistants are mostly rude and don’t seem to care much about the patient based on my experience, I always feel like my care is rushed to get me out as fast as possible. There’s also a lot of foul odors in the patient areas almost every time I’ve been to this dental office, my first visit it actually smelt like weed/marijuana when I was escorted to a room to be seen, and the assistant tending to my teeth smelt awful like sweat and body odor to a point it was actually hard to breathe around said person. For someone tending to my teeth and working in a hygiene field I expected better. Recent visits have not been any better so I may have to find a new dentist in the future.
