Had a wonderful experience here. Took in my Toyota Sequoia as a rodent had chewed through some wires. I had it diagnosed at another shop but kept it since it was still drivable. I got my insurance involved and the receptionist took care of all the back and forth. My insurance insisted on them completing a diagnosis with pictures before they could approve the work. They used the appointment I had booked 2 weeks in advance to do that. My insurance approved and paid out the following day. I fully expected it to be another two weeks before they would have time for my vehicle since it was a lengthy procedure. They had it ready two days later!

We were on our way home from Ocean Park when we stopped at a bakery in Long Beach for a treat.Upon starting our 2005 Prius, all kinds of lights lit up on the dash board scaring us and leaving us unsure of what to do next. Called the closest Toyota dealer, which wasn’t really close, and another shop and both were booked out several weeks, or be towed in and they’d TRY and diagnose.Wasn’t crazy about those options so Googled Toyota repair shop Long Beach and up popped R & M,thank God. Kelly, the kind lady who answered the phone, listened to our dilemma and offered to tell the technician about our situation. She came back on the phone and asked if we could come in right now.Since we were only 0.6 miles away, thank God again, we took the chance and drove to the shop where Michael, the capable and humorous technician hooked us up to his diagnostics and in just a few minutes was able to reassure us that we could safely drive back home to Vancouver (2 1/2 hours away) where we could get the car repaired in our town.We went from the worst case scenario to the best case scenario thanks to both Kelly and Michael.He didn’t have to stop what he was doing to help us and she didn’t have to trouble him about it but she did.I will always remember their kindness to us in coming to the rescue of perfect strangers and sending us on our way with peace of mind.To the lucky residents of Long Beach, I encourage you to trust your car to this wonderful business and once again, thank you Michael and Kelly for saving our trip to your beautiful area. R and M Auto and RV Service is an absolutely wonderful business, from any direction you look at it. Last Friday my son drove in from out of town, and about 10 miles from our place his car made a loud "ca thunk" noise and sounded like something was dragging after that.We called R & M Auto & RV Service wishing they could take his car in soon as he was from out of town and needed to get back to work, but did not have our hopes up as they are typically very busy. To our delight, they simply made time for us and got the car drivable so we can get our son home in it. This was so greatly appreciated!We were so impressed with their kind and friendly customer service, their attention to detail, and especially their willingness to take the car on such short notice.We have used this business twice before for car repairs, and were very impressed then, for all the reasons above. They treat you with respect and are honest.I have tried 3 others here on the Pennisula.Was charged high price, that did not really fix the problem.Here maybe ke and Richard are genuine.Gods love shows in how they treat you.Kelly she is such a Sweet Person.Always greets u with a warm Smile.This is my Family now.I will never trust anyone else.When they say ,when your car will be ready, they do it.Not 2or 5 weeks later on.Yes, I am very Proud of R&M Auto &RV Service.You will be too.Services: Brakes

Honesty, integrity, great communication, fantastic customer service, fair prices, timely service, quality work, highly competency, hands down the best car repair experience I’ve ever had. This will be the only place I take my cars to in the future. (Not to mention, the have the best waiting room treats I’ve ever seen at any auto place)My car began hemorrhaging oil and the light came on letting me know something was wrong. I took it into the place I go for oil changed and they said my oil was almost totally gone (I had just had my oil changed a few days before). The tech said he believed that the cause was a leak in the rear main seal, which according to them, would cost between 1800-2300 to fix. I took to another place and they made the same guess and said that they thought the same thing, but couldn’t say without opening things up. I was recommended this place by my State Farm agent Rick Berezay and am so glad I took the recommendation. I called R & M Auto and Kelly helped us get in right away. I told them what I had been told the problem was (rear main seal). The same day we dropped it off, I got a message from the owner informing me that the leak wasn’t from the rear main seal, but the oil pressure sensor. Much easier to fix, and a lot less expensive, that they had already ordered the part, and that it would be ready for pick up in 2 days. They had an easy opportunity to just say that they fixed it and say it was the rear main seal and charge me way more. But they didn’t!It can be hard to find people that are honest these days. But if your looking for good, honest people to fix your car, this is the place.

A great experience!After speaking to them in the shop, it was immediately clear they were very knowledgeable and experienced. I was comfortable that I’d be taken care of, and I was right.Probably the most competent repair experience I’ve ever had!I thought my fridge needed replacing after researching the Internet. They diagnosed the problem and had a replacement bored in my fridge within a week. The only reason it took a week, was because I have an off model fridge. They said they had most parts right in their shop. While Richard was repairing the fridge, I brought up a couple other things about my camper. It all got repaired!Love this place!

Our water pump broke on a Thursday night during kite festival week- we were checking out Friday. We called one place, but they couldn't get us in. We called R and M auto and even though they were busy, they spent a good part of the day fixing our car. We were panicked because we knew there would be no rooms available that weekend.They truly saved us and did a great job. They were very kind and very professional.We totally would recommend them.
