Karate Northwest is a leading martial arts and fitness program serving Snohomish and surrounding areas for over 20 years. They offer world-class Karate and fitness instruction for all ages, including self-defense, sport karate, personal training, and group classes. The dojo is known for its highly technical Okinawan karate, mainly shito-ryu style, with a focus on applied techniques, sparring, and weapons training. The instructors are friendly, patient, and encouraging, creating a positive environment where students learn and grow. It is a great place for kids and adults to develop skills, confidence, and fitness.
My daughter and I have both been training here for over 5 years now. We love the mix of traditional and sport karate and physical and mental exercise. The senseis and senpais are fantastic! There is a strong culture of discipline, respect, and team spirit balanced by fun. The dojo is home to a great karate community right here in Snohomish.
My boys absolutely love it here. They are working towards their orange belts now and Sensei Abby is the best karate teacher—she challenges the kids and pushes them outside their limitations. She’s fierce, strong, smart and gets respects because she gives it. We are so grateful for what Sensei Casey and Abby have done for our kids! ;)
My 6 year old son has been training for 2 months now and he's learning and growing a lot. Casey Mill is very kind but firm with the kids. Great place to learn! Instructors Abby and Mathew are great and very patient with the kids.
