After trying for about a year and a half, I finally passed my driving test — and I truly owe a big thank you to Carolyn. I took four lessons with her, and she made a huge difference. She is very patient, calm, and professional. I was nervous and lacked confidence before, but she explained everything clearly and helped me correct my mistakes step by step. I’m very grateful for her guidance and support. If you’re feeling nervous or struggling like I was, I highly recommend Carolyn!

Like most people, I started driving when I was around 16 years old which as of today was about 5-6 years ago back in the year 2020. I went to a different driving school, had different instructors, and a virtual learning experience that was nowhere near the right fit for me. Back then, whether I was driving with a parent or an instructor, almost every moment of my driving experience was filled with, confusion, uncertainty, intimidation and embarrassment. The bottom line was, I wasn't learning, I wasn't understanding, I was blamed for it 90% of the time I got behind the wheel and as a result I lost interest in learning how to drive. Years later, when I got a job, and reached my twenties, I decided that no matter what, I needed to get my driver's license. That's when the Olympic Driving School of Lacey came into the picture. Upon learning I could sign up to take their teen driving lessons in spite of my age, I went for it. Rather than just taking the written exam and passing my driver's test, I thought it would be worthwhile to utilize their program to actually learn how to drive and I don't regret a dime. Granted, I was already in the process of learning how to drive through videos, note taking, behind the wheel observation, practice and even using things like shopping carts, 6-wheelers and electric handjacks from my job, Olympic Driving School helped me nurture what I was trying to achieve. They supported me through my journey with kindness, understanding and patience with every class I attended. They encouraged my questions, they encouraged my learning and they encouraged my driving. Thanks to the Olympic Driving School of Lacey, I now finally have my Washington State driver's license, something I almost couldn't belive I could accomplish. 😁

I think they are taking too many students on without being able to then meet needs post classroom instruction. They only allow two drives scheduled but then it takes 3+ weeks to have availability. Recently they stated Winter Break 2025 hit us hard. That's just not the case we needed to schedule drives prior to Thanksgiving and everything was really far out. I understand that individuals and families are responsible for 88% of this training but gosh cannot hardly get the other 12% accomplished. I understand that for the profitability of the business you need to sign up everyone. The reality is you can't then meet everyone's needs when 1 on 1 drives are later needed. How can we fix this?

My driving instructor Shaina Parker was incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and encouraging through all of my lessons with her. I went into driver's ed very nervous to drive but Shaina always encouraged me and helped me feel confident and knowledgeable.
The entire staff was willing to work with me and communication was always clear. My experience at Olympic Driving School was great and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

Ms. Carolyn helped make sure I was safe enough for the road today! This was my third attempt, and I was so nervous, she helped take that away with her kind, funny sense of humor making the drive feel almost effortless.!

I failed my first driving test because of a silly mistake . I was heartbroken and almost gave up, thinking I’d never be able to pass. But Shaina Parker really helped me regain my confidence and motivated me to give it another try she was sure I’d pass the second time. Today, I took my second driving test with Carolyn and passed with flying colors! She made me feel so comfortable and was incredibly encouraging . I am extreamly greatful for Shaina & Carolyn's encouragement. I’d highly recommend Olympia Driving School Lacey for your driving test they truly care about helping you succeed.
