Infused Fitness and Dance

I had a great time with Michelle, the belly dance instructor. I took a private class and she took the time to show me the steps, while helping me find inner peace and love for my body. Her love for dance and woman empowerment shows and you can feel it as you're dancing with her. Will be going back for more classes. Thank you Michelle!

First impression, not that great. I couldn't find it, and my gps was trying to take me around the blocked off back of the building. Once I finally figured out how to get to the front, I still wasn't positive I was in the right place until I saw the sign saying "Self Defense." Bingo. I was invited to take part in a self defense class. It was a private party for the 7 of us that showed up and was a 3 hour class. The first hour was a getting to know us hour. Why we were there, what we were looking for out of the class, ect. The last 2 hours were learning and practicing some of the self defense techniques that were taught. I learned things I wish I would have learned years ago. Things I'm almost embarrassed to have not know. Things that every woman should learn in order to protect herself from any number of situations. Our instructor was wonderful. Fun and knowledgeable. She was also very respectful of us while we practiced. We only physically practiced the tricks if we were comfortable doing so. It was a very safe environment. The building offers numerous other classes. Ballet and belly dancing, yoga, tai chi and Zumba. There's also a weekly self defense class on Mondays that I'll be doing my best to drop in when I'm able. Seriously ladies. It was beyond worth giving up 3 hours of my Sunday to learn this stuff.
