About X Gym
X Gym is a highly recommended fitness center, known for its focused workouts and dedicated team. The trainers, including PJ, JP, and Athena, are experienced and great to work with, offering both individual and group sessions. The gym offers a perfect balance for busy schedules, with 21-minute sessions that are effective and efficient. One customer had a positive experience with both strength and cardio group classes, and appreciated the individual attention and expertise of the trainers. They were able to maintain a regular gym schedule for almost a year, which was the longest stretch they had ever managed. Another customer had been strength training consistently for 10 years, trying various modalities and trainers, but didn't see the results they were hoping for. Since starting at X Gym three weeks ago, they have already seen significant improvements in their strength, aerobic capacity, and ability to push through fatigue. They have also noticed a difference in their Jiu Jitsu training, with increased stamina, force generation, and ability to tolerate discomfort during rolls. Overall, X Gym is a welcoming and supportive fitness community that delivers results. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, X Gym offers a unique and effective approach to strength training and overall fitness.
The X Gym Team is the best!We recently relocated from Kirkland and reluctantly left X Gym after a nearly ten year association.I highly recommend PJ and X Gym - with focused workouts, remote access while traveling, individual and group sessions, X Gym has it all.Thank you X Gym team for helping me stay in shape and ready for each season’s outdoor activity.
I joined the gym in September last year for the group classes, both strength and cardio. I had a positive experience with both of them. Trainers, JP and Athena, were great to work with. PJ also filled in on some occasions and he is wonderful trainer.Having few sessions of 21 minutes in a week was the perfect balance for me, given the busy schedule that many of us have between work and home. I was regular at the gym for almost a year, which is the longest stretch that I ever had.
I've been strength training consistently for about 10 years now - at least 3x a week, but often more unless I'm sick or injured. In that time I've tried many different modalities: Crossfit, calisthenics, bodybuilding-style splits, Stronglifts 5x5, Strongfirst kettlebell training, and many others. I've worked with many personal trainers (most of whom were great), as well as working out on my own in that time. While those methods have kept me generally healthy, I didn't get nearly the strength, muscle, or general athletic gains that I was promised. In 10 years of consistent training with those modalities, I gained a very minimal amount of muscle, and have a much lower strength...read full review
