Every step along the way we were welcomed with the utmost kindness and professionalism.
I wish I had grabbed the name of the lovely human who opened the door for us at 7am and helped process our co-pay. She has the coolest pink keyboard.
Suki, the ophthalmic nurse, is phenomenal with children and made the whole process easy and enjoyable- not the simplest task with littles.
Dr. Kitamura is an angel on earth. She was incredibly warm and our child said she is “the best grownup ever”. He absolutely adores her and can’t wait to drop off some dinosaur drawings for her. He must have felt like the only patient in the world with the amount of time and interest she generously devoted this morning.
Upon our exit we had yet another delightful interaction with the front desk receptionist.
I’m not a shill 😅 This is a genuine review from a very impressed mother. When selecting care providers we do our research and then hope for the best. On this particular day with these particular staff members we had the dream appointment. As this was our son’s first eye exam I’m confident he can’t wait until next year.

Avoid this place. They have some many hidden fee and they won’t tell you up front. You have to be careful with the front desk lady. I still have received some bills from this clinic and I don’t even realized those hidden fees. Avoid here !!!!

NorthWest Vision Institute: Doctor Gilbert could almost be considered offensive in his patient interaction. Will say that the tech that helped me was a nice guy. And then, it took three, yes three different emails to get my results. It was only after they wanted me to pay the deductible (about 30 days later) and I outlined I had never received my results did I get them, the next day. I would definitely look for another optometrist office to use.

The woman who works behind the glasses counter is the rudest person I have ever come across in healthcare. Ever. The front desk and doctors are great and kind but it’s unfortunate they continue to employee counter lady because YIKES. Bringing the whole clinic down.

I cannot speak any more highly of the care I received from this clinic. Kimberly Kumar was kind, and helpful. She answered all my questions and concerns before I had my appointment with the doctor. I will be letting all my friends know about this place! Love this place. Love the care I received and loved dealing with Kim Kumar and the doctors!

I had been there before, and considering my condition at that time, the front desk offered a non-dilated fundus examination, for free.However, I later received a bill, so I need to reach out to them again to discuss and clarify the situation.

I am a patient of Dr. Michael and just had cataract surgery in one eye and now waiting to have the second eye done in 2 weeks. I now have 20/20 vision in the one eye he operated on and look forward to the same success in the other. Dr. Michael is a highly skilled eye surgeon, a great listener and a compassionate and kind doctor. The day of my surgery, he personally called me after I arrived home to check to see how I was doing! He is the best of the best! And another person who is amazing, is his scheduling assistant, Kim — She is in the Kirkland office. She was so nice and willing to go out of her way to accommodate my schedule for my surgeries. I've been in the customer service industry with a major airline for 25 years and I can only say that Kim understands what customer service is all about. She is so friendly, caring and organized! She is the best! Thank you Dr. Michael and Kim!
