I wholeheartedly recommend Yumi of Hatano Studio to everyone—she is incredibly easy and fun to work with due to her friendly demeanor and regular communications, and she will gladly explain in details the pros and cons of different options and the reasoning behind her initial recommendation for our space; the contractors she work with are also very communicative, deliver quality work, and can adapt when the remodel process uncovers any unexpected issues.

Yumi was immensely helpful in decorating our condo. She advised us on how to best use the odd shape of the great room, guided us on how much would fit in, and what color schemes would work. She also coordinated all of the contractors. Everything moved smoothly and on time. We strongly recommend her.
My parents have used Yumi on multiple occasions to get her help redoing their various renovations. I just recently bought my own place and had a couple of tricky questions regarding design and aesthetics that I was trying to figure out. I asked Yumi for her opinion and help and not only did she provide guidance, but she went out and got samples, sent me pictures, and provided her reasoning for certain details. I was able to see my space in a whole new light. She carries out her work being responsible, professional, and going above and beyond. She is great at what she does!
